This patient had significant hooding of both upper eyelids and brow droop, creating a heavy appearance around the eyes. The goal was to restore a fresher, more open look while maintaining her natural features.
A bilateral direct brow lift was performed to elevate the brows and improve brow position, reducing the heaviness over the upper lids. This was combined with an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess skin and refine the eyelid contour. Together, these procedures restored definition to the upper face and opened the eyes in a natural way.
The patient was very pleased with the outcome — her eyes now appear brighter, more youthful, and refreshed, while preserving her natural expression and individuality.
This patient came to the clinic with a right upper eyelid that had been drooping and making the eyes look asymmetrical. A metriculate ptosis repair was performed through an incision in the natural eyelid crease (anterior approach) to lift and reshape the lid so it matched the other side and opened up the eye for a fresher, more balanced look. Recovery was quick and comfortable, with only minimal bruising or swelling, as shown in this photo taken just 7 days after surgery.
This patient came to me with significant hooding of both upper eyelids, which gave her eyes a tired appearance and caused a feeling of heaviness during daily activities. She underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, achieving an excellent result. The procedure beautifully opened up her eyes, restoring lightness and definition to the upper lids.
This case highlights how an upper blepharoplasty can make a remarkable difference — subtly rejuvenating the face and enhancing natural expression
